GPS4Sport has just released a new product that combines GPS track data with action cam movies, then overlays the movie on top of the Google Earth plug-in while it all runs. It sounds complicated, and I'm sure it is on the back end, but the result for the end user is really quite cool.

It also supports flight activities, such as this one, shown here:

The flight mode supports video as well, though they don't have any examples of that yet. Check it all out for yourself at GPS4Sport.com.

Namibia is another country that we hope to see on Google Maps Street View soon. This is the Mohembo border control between Botswana and Namibia.

Google was invited to a tourist tour of this community named Longyearbyen in Svalbard.

Thanks to some sharp-eyed GEB readers ('Bob' being the first), we see that Google pushed out some fresh imagery a few days ago.

You can grab the Imagery Updates KML file to see the exact locations of the new imagery, but it includes areas of the upper-midwest and western United States, some in Mexico, quite a bit in Pakistan, sections of China and small areas in dozens of other countries.

In addition, Google has added some new "historical imagery" from the New Jersey shore and New York City taken just after Hurricane Sandy.
