My Google Map Blog

Google has quietly released 3D Imagery in more new cities including Atlanta, Chicago, Edmonton, Winnipeg, West Midlands (UK)  and perhaps a few others.  As with the previous cities they’ve updated, it looks phenomenal from the air though a bit rough when you get down to ground level.

Google hasn’t announced every addition to their 3D Imagery, so I’ve been working on building a comprehensive list. With the help of our old blog entries, old Lat Long Blog entries, Wikipedia, @seandhattersley, and GEB reader ‘Munden’, I think I have a pretty solid list. If you know of other cities that are already showing the 3D Imagery, please leave a comment and let us know.
