Craig Snapp teaches an "Explore Your World and Beyond" short course for mostly retired folks over 55 at several Senior Colleges in Maine. He finds that many older folks really get excited about the capabilities of Google Earth since is offers then a practical way to explore and better understand the world without the financial and physical stresses of real travel.

At the start of the course he give the students a copy of "The Travel List Challenge" since it offers a handy list of 100 interesting places to search for using GE. Over time he's used the list to search for, visit and save all 100 locations and has put them all in this KMZ file. The 1-100 list is roughly alphabetical and he's organized the GE locations in groups of 10 for convenience.

Take the quiz for yourself and let us know how you did. I only scored in the single digits, and I expect some of you will turn in much higher scores. Leave a comment below and let us know how you did!
